We currently have the following exciting opportunities:

  • Nurse Practitioner - Medical Outpatient Clinic-Full Time-Day Shift: The acute care nurse practitioner (ACNP) renders medical care to acutely ill patients within the hospital setting. The ACNP is responsible for assessment of the patients and, in conjunction with the physician, provides medical and nursing care for each identified patient. The nursing process will be utilized (assessment, planning, intervention, evaluation, and teaching) in providing care. Demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served; also demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development and possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient’s status. Interpretation of information is required to identify each patient’s requirements relative to his or her age specific needs and to provide the care needed as described in the department’s policies and procedures. Graduation from an approved Nurse Practitioner program. Current NJ licensure and certification as a Nurse Practitioner. 2 years of related clinical nursing experience preferred. Professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice, extensive knowledge of physical assessment, differential diagnosis, pathophysiology, pharmacology. Good oral and written communication skills. Good interpersonal communication skills.

  • Nurse Manager – Long Term Care The responsibilities of the individual in this role will include the many facets of both clinical and operational management of our LTC services to ensure that standards of practice for nursing and patient care are maintained on a 24-hour basis. These important functions include developing, implementing and evaluating programs and goals, hiring and supervising staff, overseeing QA and QI, assisting in the development of annual budgets, serving as a resource to staff in both clinical and management matters and performing other related duties as required. Candidates need current NJ RN licensure plus a minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in LTC. Supervisory experience is strongly preferred.

  • LTC Assistant Director of Nursing - Per Diem-Flexible Shifts: Responsible for the clinical and operational management of the division (off shift, weekends, and holidays) ensuring that standards of practice for nursing and patient care are maintained; participates in developing departmental plans and programs as required; collects and provides data on unit activities, QA issues, etc. as required. Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred. Current NJ licensure as RN required. American Heart BLS required. Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience required. Two years of supervisory experience in Long Term Care.  
  • Assistant Directors of Nursing – Acute – Part Time and Per Diem Responsible for the clinical and operational management of a specific Nursing division, ensuring that standards of practice for nursing and patient care are maintained; participates in developing departmental plans and programs as required; collects and provides data on unit activities, QA issues, and staff inservices, as required.

    Current NJ licensure as RN required. BLS/ACLS required. IV Certification required. At least one year Med/Surg and Critical experience. One year management experience.

  • Nurse Practitioner - Per Diem - WeekendsThe acute care nurse practitioner (ACNP) renders medical care to acutely ill patients within the hospital setting. The ACNP is responsible for assessment of the patients and, in conjunction with the physician, provides medical and nursing care for each identified patient. The nursing process will be utilized (assessment, planning, intervention, evaluation, and teaching) in providing care.     Graduation from an approved Nurse Practitioner program. Current NJ licensure and certification as a Nurse Practitioner. 2 years of related clinical nursing experience preferred.

  • Occupational Therapist - Full Time - Rehabilitation ServicesWorks as a part of a team in an outpatient rehabilitation setting specializing in treating upper extremity conditions ie. post-surgical rehab, workers compensation injuries, and various orthopedic conditions. Evaluates and treats physician-referred patients by organizing and conducting occupational therapy programs. Evaluates physical or psychiatric dysfunction. Plans and implements specific treatment programs. Collaborates with interdisciplinary treatment team. Facilitates the learning of skills and functions essential for adaptation and productivity, and to promote and maintain health. 

  • Emergency Room RNs: Under the general supervision of the ER Director or Assistant Director of Nursing, provides direct nursing care to patients.

    Requirements include graduation from an accredited school of Nursing with a BSN Degree preferred. Current NJ RN license required; at least one year of Emergency Department experience preferred. BCLS and ACLS certifications required; PALS certification required within 1 year of employment; TNCC and PALS certifications preferred. Must also demonstrate competence in all Emergency Nursing Procedures, 12 Lead EKG/Cardiac Dysrhythmia Interpretations and good oral and written communication skills. Knowledge and experience with psychiatric patients preferred.

  • Critical Care RNs: Responsible for the total nursing care of assigned critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Units. Collaborates with patients, families, physicians, and other health team members to formulate a plan of care and performs all duties of the staff nurse.

    Requirements include graduation from an accredited school of Nursing; NJ RN license; BSN preferred. At least one year of Critical Care experience is essential along with current BLS, ACLS and IV certification. Successful completion of both in-house Intensive Care Orientation Program and in-house EKG course required.

  • Acute Med/Surg RNs: Responsible for the total nursing care of Acute Medical/Surgical patients including assessment, treatment, observation and documentation. Providing comprehensive patient care also involves collaboration with an interdisciplinary healthcare team and orienting patients and families.

    Requirements include graduation from an accredited school of Nursing, NJ RN licensure and BLS and IV certifications, with 1 year of Medical/Surgical experience preferred. * New Grads welcome to apply.
