Family Therapy: Skills and Techniques
For New and Intermediate Level Social Workers

Clinical content will focus on theory and practice related to family therapy. Other clinical topics include treatment strategies and skills, therapy goals, genograms, inter-generational patterns, and the role of the social worker in the family therapy process. In addition, the seminar will explore when to use family therapy as a treatment of choice. Recent clinical research about the efficacy of this model and its rate of success will be presented.
